Description
Group Paragliding Lessons
Each lesson day includes 3–4 hours of training on the hill, with all necessary paragliding equipment included.
Group classes are limited to a maximum of 5 students, with a minimum of 2 students required to form a group.
What to Expect
Many students progress to low-level launches and landings on their first day of training, depending on conditions and individual progress.
Our goal is to put you in the best possible conditions for learning. Because paragliding is weather-dependent, the teaching site is selected the evening before your lesson based on the forecast and expected wind conditions. Choosing the best site for the day helps you get the most from your training.
Pricing
One lesson day: $300 per person
A single lesson day must be scheduled on a day when at least one other student at a similar training level is available. If you’re signing up on your own, Airtime will help match you with other students at a similar level.
Two or more lesson days: $200 per day, per person
For example:
- 2 people training for 2 days: Purchase 4 lesson days.
- 1 person training for 3 days: Purchase 3 lesson days.
You may purchase additional lesson days, but a maximum of 3 group lesson days can be applied toward a full training package.
Training Locations
Our primary training sites are:
- Ed Levin Park in Milpitas — our most frequently used training site
- Mussel Rock in Pacifica/Daly City
- Gateway Park in Benicia — primarily used during the winter
The location for each lesson is determined by the weather. We select the site that offers the most suitable conditions for safe, productive training.
If you have questions about scheduling, pricing, or how the group lessons work, please give us a call.
