Lesson and Tandem Policies - Paragliding Lessons in the San Francisco Bay Area

All lessons, tandem flights and packages are non-refundable. Exception: In Unlimited Program, if a customer is unsatisfied within the first two lessons, the remaining balance will be refunded. After the first two lessons, refunds are not available. The $50 deposit for (Non-refundable version) Tandem is fully refundable, other than for a “no show”.
In the Unlimited Basic P2 / Condor programs, there is a 6 Month time limit from the first lesson (Extensions are added for programs that overlap winter months) . All non-unlimited lessons or tandem flights have an no expiration.
Students in the P2 Basic or P2 Condor package that fail to complete the P2 portion of the program within the 6 month limit (Or, winter overlap, extensions), – Can continue lessons at a Per Day, discounted, group rate $150/Day. Each of these, continuation, lessons must have at least two students in the class to go to the Ed Levin flying site.
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy for all lessons, including tandem.
Failure to show up for a lesson forfeits the lesson fees. Showing up more than 30 minutes late is considered a “no show”. (For students in the unlimited program, the charge is $100 for no-shows.)
Lesson purchases can be transferred to another party, except for unlimited packages where some training has already occurred.
Lessons Refunds are not available for weather cancellations. Lessons canceled due to weather are rescheduled as many times as necessary until success is achieved.
For Tandem Passengers – A deposit of $50 holds a spot for the planned date of “one try”, program flights. The balance is payable at the time of the flight. For Tandem Flight, no shows or being more than 20 minutes late for a planned flight forfeit the deposit. The $50 deposit is refundable for weather cancellations or any other request other than a “no show” or being more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled tandem flight.
